Unfortunately there is a problem with comments on my student's blog. I thought we got it set up to accept comments without moderation, but apparently there is some kind of problem. As we are on break for Mardi Gras, I will have to wait until Thursday to see what I can do about this.
Thanks to all who have tried to comment. I'll let you know when/if we get it cleared up.

You probably have to change your comments settings. If you go to Settings when you sign in and click on the Comments tab then you'll see who you've let comment.
I had the same problem on some of my student blogs and we couldn't understand we nobody was commenting.
